This diagram is the result of the Spring 2020 Practicing Collaborative Research seminar at the University of Arizona.

The network diagram framework provides a way to organize recommendations to graduate students who want to engage in collaborative research. Please consult the 'References' for a list of the papers used to determine these recommendations.

This framework is anchored between two “uber-nodes” which represent two major stages in the progression of a collaborative project, Initiate a Collaboration and Usable Outcomes. The uber-nodes could be thought of as the starting and ending phases of a collaborative research project (though project impacts may extend beyond the outcomes phase).

The uber-nodes are not included in this diagram, however the "major nodes" and "sub-nodes"can be explored by clicking the arrow to the right. »
